Postcard Animation
2024A collection of early astrophotography and the first aerial images of earth are Risograph printed to create a series of postcards. A hypothetical “Intergalactic Postage” system is developed with stamps that allow the cards to be sent back and forth between earth and space. The postcards are scanned and animated to the score of Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2. They appear chronologically to depict man's journey to space and back to earth again.
